MARK LEWIS                                                                                                              CHAIRMAN

Mark is an Executive Director within the Stonehage Fleming Expert Fiduciary Division. He joined the Group in 2014 after nearly 25 years as a lawyer in private practice specialising in international corporate and commercial work. Mark became a partner of the international law firm Appleby in 1998 and was head of the Corporate and Commercial Department of the Jersey office of Appleby from 2000 until 2013. Mark graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University in 1986. He qualified as an English solicitor in 1992 and as a Jersey advocate in 1996. He also obtained a diploma in French Law (Certificate D’Études des
Lois Normand et Francaises) in 1995. Mark has been recommended by Chambers Global and other legal directories as a “leading Individual” lawyer and is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences, particularly in relation to financial services regulation.

CANON DOMINIC GOLDING                                                                                  DIRECTOR

Canon Dominic Golding was born on 12th September 1968 in Southampton. After his ecclesiastical studies at St. John’s Seminary, Wonersh he obtained a bachelor’s degree in theology from Guildford University. He was ordained a priest on 26th June 1994. He was sent to Canada in 1998 to continue his studies at St. Paul University, Ottawa where he obtained a licentiate and masters in canon law in 2000.                                                                                                                                                                                        Since priestly ordination he has held various offices in the Diocese of Portsmouth: parish priest of St James, Reading (2000-2010) and Holy Ghost, Basingstoke (2010-2013), Judicial Vicar (2000-2013), Dean of St. John’s Cathedral, Portsmouth (2013-2018) and Vicar General (2013-2018). He was a diocesan trustee from 2008-2018. He is an ecclesiastical judge of both the Portsmouth Diocesan Tribunal and the Oslo Diocesan Tribunal. He was appointed a canon of St. John’s Cathedral Chapter in 2013 and has been Catholic Dean of Jersey since September 2018. To relax he likes to walk his dog or sit down with a good book.

Dublin born, educated by Jesuits at Gonzaga College, Iain has lived in Jersey since 1961. Most of his working life was in the Tourism Industry. He was for nine years Co-ordinator of St Helier’s Centre Ville Project, involved with a range of projects from the Hoppa Experiment, the Christmas Lights, La Fête dé Noué, the paving of the Royal Square being perhaps the most memorable. Formerly a member, he has served in executive positions with many Island organisations, including the Skål Club of Jersey, the Jersey Amateur Dramatic Club, the Channel Islands Tour Operators Group, the Jersey Battle of Flowers Association and the Parish of St Helier Roads Committee. Following a period of study and formation at St John’s Seminary, in 1993 Iain was ordained as the first Permanent Deacon in Jersey. He is a member the Hospital Chaplaincy Team, with particular responsibility for Overdale; the Apostleship of the Sea, The Knights of St Columba, the SVP and a past President off the Jersey Circle of the Catenian Association. Previously a Governor of FCJ Convent School he has recently been appointed to the Board of Governor’s of De la Salle College. Iain married Cheryl in 1966 they have two adult sons, Niall and Tadhg and five grandchildren. He enjoys travelling, reading, classical music and a fine Armagnac

ROBIN E. RUMBOLL                                                                                                      DIRECTOR

Robin was born in Argentina where he spent his early life. After attending boarding school in England he returned to Buenos Aires and served two years compulsory military service in the local police force. In 1965 he moved to Jersey, initially to start a mushroom farm in the then disused German tunnels in St Peter’s Valley. Already a Chartered Accountant he abandoned mushrooms for the profession, becoming a Partner of Coopers & Lybrand in 1966 and, after 21 years a Consultant, by which time he had already been elected to the States, serving as a Deputy for St Helier until 1996. During his political career he held a number of Presidencies, including those of Education, Legislation and Jersey Outside politics he has been President of Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and was a founder member and current President of Jersey Cheshire Homes Foundation. Robin played a leading role in the recent “Living Our Faith” campaign. Robin continues to hold a number of non executive directorships and as a joint founder of Channel 103 he remains Chairman of the radio station and its associated charity “Help A Jersey Child”. Robin and his wife Cynthia live in St Lawrence and his interests include boating, golf, skiing and attempting to improve his modest bridge skills.

MIKE CUTLAND                                                                                                      DIRECTOR

Educated at De La Salle College in Jersey, Mike later graduated from the University of Reading with a law degree. An interest in human rights and social justice led to a career in the Probation Service after Mike achieved a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of East Anglia. Mike returned to Jersey working as a Probation Officer in the local service before being promoted to Assistant Chief Officer in 1999. As part of this role Mike was the first Chairperson of the local Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) Partnership – an approach that assesses, manages and works with members of the community who pose a high risk of harm to others. Mike has also chaired the Jersey Domestic Violence Forum and represents the Probation Service on the boards of the Safeguarding Partnership and the Family Mediation Jersey charity . Mike attends St May’s and St Peter’s Church where he is an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. He has been married for over twenty years to Sharon and the couple have three children: Niamh, Danny and Roisin. A keen follower of sport, Mike has not allowed frequent disappointments to curtail his support of West Ham United.

CELANNE SCALLY                                                                                          HONORARY SECRETARY

Celanne was born in Scotland but moved to Jersey at a young age.  She was educated locally at both FCJ and Beaulieu Convent School.  She has a Masters in Philosophy from Glasgow University as well as an LLB from Edinburgh University.  Celanne returned to Jersey in 2011 and worked for one of the top 10 offshore law firms for over six years. Celanne qualified as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in October 2015.  She was named as one of ePrivateclient’s “Top 35 under 35” (Channel Islands) in 2018.  She is a member of the Law Society of Jersey, the Jersey Family Law Association and the Jersey Junior Lawyer Association.

Educated at the Sacred Heart School and De La Salle College, Stephen was a regular altar-server in his childhood at the small but quaint ‘Our Lady Queen of the Universe’ RC Church at Millbrook, before re-locating to east of the island in the mid-1970s and attending St Patrick’s RC Church, for which he became a Eucharist Minister in 1986. Stephen subsequently joined the Catholic lay-organisation ‘The Catenian Association’ in 2001, for which he has held the positions of both President and Treasurer of the Jersey Circle, for a number of years. Stephen is a Director and Executive Financial Planner with ‘SWM Synergy’, providing Retirement and Investment planning services to individuals, businesses and corporate clientele on Jersey. Previously, Stephen started his career in Financial Services in 1993 as a Financial Adviser and subsequently obtained a Directorship and became co-proprietor of Synergy Financial Service Limited in 2005; the Company recently re-structured in 2013 as ‘SWM Limited’. A member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), Stephen has passed the Private Client Investment Advice and Management Level 6 examination. Stephen has lived at Longueville for many years and is married to Julie, and has two grown-up sons and five grandsons. He is a lifetime member of Beeches Old Boys Association, and his interests include spending time with his family and travelling, especially to their apartment located at Isla Canela in southern Spain.
